Powermax Pro Bell Connection

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have just fitted a powermax pro and want to use the existing wired bell

My existing system has a 6 core going to the ext bell box and all 6 wires are used

Black is 0v. Red is 12v. blue is Bell sw. white is Strobe sw. green is tamper F and yellow is tamper R.

I have the first 4 connections made and the siren and srobes work, but its the tamper i am unsure about

Does anyone know how i connect this to the powermax pro ?

Thanks

JD

You have to use a hardwired zone on the panel.

The tamper has to have the EOL resistor across it.

But there are two tamper wires, i guess front and back, how do i connect these to lets say zone 30 on the powermax pro ?

Many Thanks

JohnnyD

You have to use a hardwired zone on the panel.

The tamper has to have the EOL resistor across it.

Tamper Feed will be linked to Neg normally done in bell.

Tamper Return will have a resistor in series with the one tamper wire in the panel zone.
