July 23, 200322 yr comment_1536 Hi Folks! Help! I have just moved into a new house which has an //.National Installer.// Accord XPC installed. It used to be connected to a monitoring station, cos of this the previous owners didn't have an external siren put on (only got an internal siren). //.National Installer.// are quoting some ridiculous price to have an external siren installed. Therefore, i rung a local Alarm firm and they said that they could fit me an external siren (different make) for a fraction of the cost, however, as these alarms are protected by 'engineers codes' they would also have install a new keypad. Can anyone please help? Has anyone got the engineers codes (s)? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation Dude Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/326-accord-xpc/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 23, 200322 yr comment_1537 Changing Codes 8 The Accord xpC can be programmed with up to eight User Codes. User 1 is assigned as the Master User. The master user code is neccessary to programme new User Codes for the system. Note: User eight may be assigned as Duress via group 6 option 4. Reprogramming Your Code To reprogramme your code, enter it at a keypad, select the codes option by pressing 8, select your user number and enter the new code. The Master User Code is code 1, the Engineer Code is code 0. Note: The engineer must change his code from day mode not programme mode. Example: To change the master user code (Code 1) to 5678: ........................................................ July 23, 200322 yr comment_1538 They're either trying to swindle you out of some extra money or they haven't got a clue what the hell they're doing. Either way i'd go somewhere else.
