I've got a customer with a couple of oldish but very good Honeywell (Ultrak) Domes. He needs a new DVR and a couple of other Domes. Problem is how can we control the Honeywell Domes on the new system ? Are there DVRs out there that could control the new domes with Pelco or whatever and also control the Honeywells with some sort of protocol converter ?

I think the Diamond Protocol is the same as H'wells MaxPro Protocol which there dvrs support.

i dont. Im sure vcl protocol is different. A lot of dvr's do support vcl protocol though but not down the coax. What dvr was in there before?
