Hi i am a new member on here. I work for the prison service. The reason why i joined on here is that i am trying to install a Honeywell Domonial at work and god how do you program this alarm system. It is a complete nightmare. I would much appreciate the help you guys will give me.

Well eveerytime i go to pair for a example a PIR, Siren, Door contact, It it starts to register it then it like restarts the engineers mode agian. Is there anything i am doing wrong??

you say it restarts, you do have the battery connected? and its charging etc?

Battery connected it should charge when its all plugged in. But when you register a pir for example all the lights on the main unit light up and then it asks you to enter the the engineer code. I am going in circles at the moment. Unless do you have to program the the alarm to charge the battery up. Which i doubt. So any other ideas.

i found out why. It was because of the battery was flat. Left it on charge over night and all is well just gotta sus out how to program the walk through and part set business.

so to summarise you have a Domonial alarm in the prison.....?

if you only have one...

id stop the trial, and use the same rf system (ie the sensors etc as the peripherals have on of the best 2 way radios in them IMO) and connect them to a G2 or Dimension galaxy.

Far superior control panel and much much easier to program and look after
