securealarmsolutions Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 Hi all, I have been approached by a customer to install a cctv system including a number plate recognition camera on the main driveway. I have not installed ANPR cameras before and need some advice. Can i just use an ANPR camera dirctly onto the DVR without using specific ANPR software? I may add the software at a later date. If your after a cheap way of kinda doing it then just use a reg cam (bosch now i think) and record it on the dvr.
