norman
Good, and they should be judging against the standards, not their opinion or miss interpretation. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. whistle
I also still use glue and caulk all the time to be honest on domestics etc... My god, if any of our lads did this they would be in the office for a disciplinary Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31816-use-staples/page/11/#findComment-437189 Share on other sites
datadiffusion
Why? Customers love it. One coat of paint and the wire is virtually hidden. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31816-use-staples/page/11/#findComment-437191 Share on other sites
whistle
Why not put the detector at celling level and feed the cable from upstairs. If you are doing it from the floor up it doesn't comply and it's just rough. datadiffusion
Eh? Is that what that means? No I always wire to the ceiling from above. Not like the rough c--ts round here that use ceiling brackets 12" out to avoid the hastle. I only ever glue for short runs i.e 12" along a dado so a keypad isnt jammed in the corner.
