Have just bought a Premier 24 kit to play with and the terminology is a bit of a barrier. Unlike other technologies there seems to be very little product specific technical training available. I am well used to learning from manuals if the concepts are explained, but this is not the case with what I have read in Premier ones. This is the reason I asked about choice of panels in the first place. The Texecom panels have worked reliably for us but the programming of the Premier kit is not intuitative from the RKP or the PC program. March 23, 201115 yr comment_271699 They probably look a bit daunting to start with. I find them easy to navigate, that may be down to being familiar with older TS Menvier stuff, as the Prem designers used to work for Menvier. I also find the programming super easy in Wintex, imo its the best PC intruder software out there. March 28, 201115 yr comment_271812 i have recently completed a training course with texecom on the premiere 48 panel and the ricochet wireless equipment after 20 years of working on scantronic, menvier, galaxy, ade and more recently the worst panel on the market the EUROPLEX SYGNET.The Texecom panel was easy enough to work on after getting into the way its terminology works, but the jewel in the crown was the ricochet wireless kit, especially if you use the free software to monitor signal strength. texecom wireless equipment is the only equipment on the market at the moment to use each wireless device on the system as a transmitter/receiver.so you should never have a problem getting a strong signal back to the the receiver. Thanks for the feedback very useful. I would gladly book this course had I known it existed. I have asked about training from Texecom a few times and could not get a response and there is nothing on their "Registered Installer" page either. If you have any detailsit would be much appreciated - Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31263-control-panel-and-hardware-choices/page/2/#findComment-271864 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
