Gardner Zone Attributes

Featured Replies

Can anyone clarify what the follwing Zone Attributes actually DO on a GARDNER 595 panel

TEST

PT-1

PT-2

"I assumed PT-1 and PT-2 were for assigning a zone part set but may be wrong here as there is no PT-3"

Clnr

"Assume this assigns zones to CLeaner coce"

Ch1

Ch2

Walk

Sec

Per

To help me further and reduce the silly postings can anyone get me a decent installation manual from

http://www.riscogroup.co.uk/Products.aspx?subcatid=84&id=17&funid=2

or anywhere else for that matter

Ok After some research I think I have this nearly all figured out

PT-1 and PT-2 assign zones for Part Sets

Clnr assigns zones to Cleaner areas

CH1 and CH2 relate to Chime tones

Walk includes zones to be used on a walk test

Sec is a Secondary Zone

Per is a Perimeter Zone

So the only one I am not sure about is Test so noe theres only 1 question to answer!!!!!!!!!

test = soak test (circuit goes off but no alarm only log & fault displayed on unsetting)

Walk is "forced walk test", any zones with this attribute must be walk tested before the system will start to set.
