Heh! Thanks guys.

It's a Golf G60 Syncro that I have; there aren't many of them but they exist. Essentially the same as a Rallye except a standard-looking 3-door MK2 shell. It's currently sat in the garage being put back together after a visit to the body shop. Which, erm, happened several years ago now.

The wife has a Corrado, too.

I'll chuck some pictures up at some point seeing that there are a few VW enthusiasts on here then. (Of the cars, not the wife.)
