Adt Galaxy Control Panel Problem

Featured Replies

getting back on Topicfor the o/p :).

,

i thought ADT also use their own bespoke firmware in Gal's, will they want a contract signed?

if the abovebe rue, might be more efficient to replace the controls, eithe wit standard Galaxy or alternative you are used to working with.

all depends on the site and very importantly the insurranc compan requirements of course, and you'd be well wise to be sure od them.

last thing you need is you save them money now, then later they get burgled and the Ins Co refuse to pay out as your not recognised ad they were not told of the alterations :cold2: .

some times its kindr to be cruel.

my dads dead, your move.

Mines still alive?

Anyway, yes ADT use their own, but can be crashed back the same as any other, just loads up with their programming, ie zones, banner, timers, all which can be changed back if need be. Some option are 'blind' on a ADT gal, for instance on an 18, there is no fire zone, but if you select option 19 (fire) although syays not used, it still is ;)

Good luck getting galaxy gold to work on an adt branded panel, even after crashing the downloader id will block any attempt.
