tgif
Hi, does someone know what is the purpose of the SET connector on Texecom AMDT Plus (and a few other ones) detector ? The installation instructions are somewhat terse: SET: 12v/No connection : detector is in the standby/unset mode 0v: detector is in the Alert/set mode According to my experiment, SET does the same thing as the RLED: it disables the leds when 0v is applied. Thank you in advances.
arfur mo
Being dual-tec and so having a microwave transmitter, you can disable the microwave to reduce any posdible health risks from mw radiation exposure (but like the mobile phone health scares). I don't know the detector so an 'educated' guess. Arfur If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

breff
There is an option on AMDT to disable anti mask when armed, I assume this is why there is a 'set' terminal The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
