Accenta G4 / Remote Key Pad

Featured Replies

I have an Accenta G4 with Remote Keypad (http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TSRKPLCD.html). All works OK, except when the RKP lid is opened, the sounder goes off in the control panel. There are no tamper alerts, and the walk tests works fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.

ok i odnt understand the issue?

is it that the sounder activates, or that it doesnt display?

Thanks for the quick response. The alarm can be set and unset OK with the RKP. However, once unset, when you next open the RKP lid, the sounder on the control panel goes off. I then have to unset the alarm, and then it asks for X to confirm reset. Hope that clarifies it a littke more.

when you say rkp lid...

do you mean the flap covering the keys, or removing the keypad from the backplate?

Most probably the RKP tamper , they are a bit tricky to get right .Look in the log , it should be displayed there.

^ my money would be on that. Dont think it will say tamper as such, off memory it will be a 1 or something on the LCD?

Thanks guys. It is exactly as suggested. I looked at the movement of the lid from the side, and when the lid was opened to reveal the keys, there was sufficient movement to trigger the tamper.

Many thanks for your help.

Great thanks for the follow up.
