I HAVE A GARDTEC 595 WIRELESS SYSTEM

I TOOK THE PIR DOWN TO DECORATE I DID NOT REALISE THAT THE BATTERY CAME OUT AND NOW THE SYSTEM HAS LOST THAT PIR. CAN ANY BODY TELL ME HOW TO GET IT BACK ON THE THE SYSTEM ?

I presume you set the tamper of when the was removed?

If you put the battery back in and clip front cover back on making sure the tamper switch closes.

Wait 2 mins then walk in front of the sensor and look for the activating LED.

Now test the system.

If that fails then the PIR might need programmed back into the system.

PLease note that the panel may require an engineer reset if you have tampered with a device.

I have managed to get rid of the tamper and the system is working but it seems to have lost the PIR off of the system, is there anyway I can get it back on?

How often are you testing the PIR.

The PIR has a 2 minute sleep mode. Put panel into test, wait 2 mins and then trip the detector.

If that doesnt work then you may have to learn the detector back into the panel.

It will still be there, you cant delete that easy. Carry out as above instructions. If that fails call Installer presuming you didnt do it yourself.
