I've been a CCTV engineer for over 10 years now and Im soon to be moving from London to Barnsley, Hence I need a new job :-/ I ideally want to work for myself so if anyone can send some work my way involving CCTV in and around West Yorkshire to keep the Yorkshire puddings and chips n t'musshy peas on me plate I will be more than grateful Does anyone here specialise in IP CCTV ? Im from a little village on the outskirts of Donny. There is a few security companies in our area that specialise in remote CCTV monitoring (and do the installs themselves), you might want to see if you can get in with the guys at EPIS (in Mexbrough), Constant Security or Temple.... you probably stand more chance at Temple as they are one of the biggest in the area. There is many CCTV companies in our area, and lots of cowboys doing the jobs for next to nowt, or rippingf old dears off... so make sure you dont fall in with into wrong company. Im having to move north due to my Partner now wanting to move home, she moved south with me and now its my turn to move north. Email me when your set up with rates and such cos we do work all over and ocasionally we need extra bods. Plus, I lived dawwwn sawwfff for a bit and there are somethings you should know so you blend in. Do not wear flat caps! Whippets are like a small greyhound and not for hunting your dinner. I dunno about Barnsley specifically but I think of mushy peas and pies as being linked to Wigan, lol You'll also find a game called rugby leauge up here, much better than your southern sporting interests. One thing you will find is in Barnsley if there is a football match: a) you wont be able to get round the city quickly, it comes to a standstill, B) the town will be silent until Barnsley scores!
