Besecure
Hi I fitted a Galaxy 220 last week for a gentleman in Chester having worked on Galaxy's before im very familiar with them so I like to think im ok to get by. However every time the Gent gets a powercut it is not accepting his reset code, now 2 things: Iv got his main code set up for level 3 access if thats correct? Two, I know he has to acknowledge the events but exactly what is he supposed to do,and how does he go about it,its easy for me to do it if im in front of it but he needs to know so this no longer happens,is there something else in the menus i need to be doing to set him up properley? Please help Phil Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/27865-galaxy-220/ Share on other sites
james.wilson
level 3 access is engineer. I assume you mean level 2.3 access? If so he will need to use a manager code or you need to increase his code to a level 2.6 code. Guest RJBsec
G2-20 assigns level of user through the user menu - Master/Manager/User. Master or Manager should be able to perform a reset after a mains fail, just needs to acknowledge the fault and have power restored. Some of the early versions had a problem with resets but current software 1.4x should be fine.
