Think you will find the PM+ is a great system to use and has many features that the others you mentioned do not have.

I seem to remember somebody on this forum saying Visionic had told him they were mot making any more. Of course, I cannot find where I saw it. Am I wrong about 868 MHZ being replaced?

868 is the new frequency, so I doubt it.

Just ckecking first of all. Is your house really that hard to wire or do you, like many others just seem to like the idea of a wireless system.

Not that hard, but I would need to move furniture, disturb carpets and lift floor boards. I don't want the hastle. Also I'm thinking about monitoring the garage, which is away from the house.

you might have read that the 433 MHz freq was being made obsolete in the uk. The old version (the powermax for example) used 433. The new ones (powermax plus and pro) use 868. 433 is still used i think in other countries
