JasGun
Once again Thanks all, I think its sorted. I am now a proud owned of a multimeter, still no real clue how to use it. But did find volts on the phone line. Stripped the wire a bit more & reconnected the yellow & black wires. Seems to work fine now, can arm & disarm. Just need to test if it calls me if the alarm goes off. Is the the best way to test if it calls me, is actually set the alarm off?

I'm not trying to be facetious, but that is the ONLY way to test it is working correctly, after all that's why you have it in the first place. Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
