Id will be hard to make a pro bell work on a diy type system

For starters you need a switched neg for the bell, and your system provides a switch pos.

I wouldant advise wasting any more money on this, if your happy with it then leasve it alone, if you want to add stuff then get equipment designed for it.

another consideration is you may overload the panel and cause damage as the panel may only be designed to work with what is supplied. I wouldnt attempt this unless you are well versed in security systems.

Very good point. (though you might be able to bodge it by making the bellboxes self contained - if they allow it).

TBO I'd rip it out and try and swap it for a door bell. There are plenty of reasonable quality kits available for the same money you paid.
