Veritas Alarm Problem

Featured Replies

946RS i was gonna say battery change and see what happens but thought you had resigned yourself to not being comfident enough with the checks and thought it safer to leave it at that.

Let us know how you get on once the battery is replaced with a new one.

cheers

Hi again.

Disconnected the battery and all works fine now!! Its obviously kaput. Thanks for all your help, home safeish once agai.

Now just need to find a BAT2412 12v 2.4Ah battery.....

I suggest you get a 7Ah battery, the 2.4Ah you have is the minimum size for your control panel, the 7Ah is the maximum.

In the case of alarm systems size DOES matter, well worth the extra expense.

Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
