hi guys can anyone help i have a abacuss 8 the small pannel with the led light as gone dim some times off is there any way that i can repaire it thanks its the back light that lights up the numbers

Disconnect the battery to see if LED brightens up, could be battery is dragging down output voltage from panel.

hi have tryed that disconected the battery there was no difference still very dim

whats the voltage at the keypad?

Id suggest your keypads failing, could be the leds current limiting resistor etc. But id be wary of the keypad.
