Castle Ct Serious Contender For Access Control?

Featured Replies

Guys

I need to do an eval for access control at avrious sites, has anyone implimented Castles access control and would you believe it to be a serious contender against other dedicated access control systems such Paxton Net2 etc

Number of users would be in the region of 400 therefore software management of the users access times, zones etc is high on the agenda. Any feedback appreciated.

The access as part of the euro is basic. Full access (without time and atendance) is available on the galaxy dimension.

Many thanks for your answer a key element of the access control was timed entries by indivual, dept. Its a shame as these panels are already installed on many of the sites and the access control hardware is relatively cheap from castle.

The only way you could get round it using castle access is by fitting a time clock to each one, the external readers also have major problems if you fit them on metal.

Its a shame castle has not developed this feature on their panels as this a major market these days

Personnally, i'd treat Access Control and Intruder as seperates. Yes, you can link them if required.

More than just net2 out there too.

For better value, ease of use and features. ACT - Access Control Technology.

Weve started using bewater ip access control, works really well, did use srs but found it to be unreliable and the technical support was as good as the products
