lawandorder
Hello I'm looking for ATEX certified "Ex" (explosion-proof) intrusion alarm products (detectors, magnetic contacts etc.). Who produces? Thank you. I'm guessing you mean the type of stuff used in the Petrochem industry? I believe that Norbain used to supply a range of camera housings which were explosion proof so they may be able to help you, might also be worth looking at the RS Components Website, they do quite a bit of stuff for hazardous environments. spider
Sentrol make detectors for explosive atmospheres, as had been commented, the device and cable should be supplied through IS barriers to limit the discharge of energy etc etc , check out the DSERA regs as well
