April 26, 200818 yr comment_195717 can anyone assist? I have an old Omnicrom 7000 control panel fitted, and though that I would replace the bell box with a Pyronix Belle box. April 28, 200818 yr comment_195801 antinode, many thanks for your help and excellent advice, the Pyronix bell box works fine now. Allen My advice would be: 1 Disconnect mains and test for safe isolation. 2 Disconnect the battery. 3 Disconnect all the wires from the control panel. 4 Remove the screws which affix the panel to the wall. 5 Place panel in a suitable waste disposal container. Only joking mate, glad you got it sorted. Very true, a lot of people don't like Texecom but for small domestics I think they are fine. I think I was put off by the fact that mosty of the Omnicrons I ever worked on were DIY Wickes kits and hadn't been fitted to a very good standard in the first place. The oldest panel still under contract would make an interesting topic I reckon. Does anyone remember A&G R4 and R4E? April 28, 200818 yr comment_195826 Worked on loads of old Bently panels like the Symphony, F133 and the big cream one with about 16 zones on it. All still going strong 20 years after they were installed, some on the original detectors aswell!
