April 25, 200818 yr comment_195667 Not set up many like this but 4 x 360 vision domes work fine on tour 24/7 2 x Dynamic domes fine and 1 COP dome worked for about 2 weeks and burnt out! and was replaced with a higher end dome and is working fine. I would advise that you use a decent dome for the job. ! May 8, 200818 yr comment_196872 Unofficially, Pelco says that dome (ie, mechanical) life is effectively halved on their Spectra I/II/III's. Unsure about spectra IV's or mini. Tried once getting this in writing from them but to no avail. Weve got 2 Spectra II or III's on tour, they have been for the last 4 years and the only problem we find is when theres a power cut one of em (mounted on a tree of all places) it sometimes doesnt self test properly and stays out of focus. As for the tree bit all I'll say is I didnt do it and I once nearly dropped it as its a bugger to get to Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23016-dome-ptz-cameras/#findComment-196880 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
