Screenshot was from first visit before any work started on site. turned off active x controls in IE whilst trying to log in but no difference?

Hi All hope someone can point me in the right direction. just inherited a site with new owner that has one of the above dvr fitted. H264 which seems to be a generic name no model number or anything that helps to identify it. i will try & put a screenshot on off the control part of the screen. We have password access ok at admin level to the dvr and can access all features but cannot acces it via the local network. log in via pc on the network and we see the log in screen, input Admin and password ok but it just regects them and puts the login screen back up. There is no warning to download a small cab file or anything. thanks all any information would be good.
