aleksandras1234
Hello, I've question about "Intellex" (American Dynamics) CCVT system: Which protocols of communicating with speed dome cameras 'Intellex" supports? I mean, could I connect any other manufacturer's speed dome cameras to this device, for example "Pelco", "Samsung", "JVC" "Sanyo"..... etc.? Thanks for answer. If you are trying to connect another make of dome to an Intellex then the answer to your question is not a chance as the only work with the touchtracker and EIM module which connects via a "D" plug to the i/o port or USB by a USB to serial converter. PAULTHEFISH
interlex supports most of the comon protocals so u can use most of them regs col Intellex supports Pelco p and d as standard but any other protocol you have got to input the protocol into the camera handling system file (which I've been told is not as easy as it sounds). aleksandras1234
Thanks for answers, it's clear about protocols. And now I have one more question about Intellex. It will be 24 cameras in system on Intellex Ultra (I must use "Intellex Ultra" according my customer request). So, how could I combine 24 cameras in one system so that it would be possible to supervise all system in 3 remote surveillance posts (2 monitors in building and 1 monitor in other city (100 km. remote). Should I use multiplexer? (20 cameras - "speed dome", 4 - fixed cameras). Thank you.
