January 12, 200818 yr comment_188140 Also, be aware that the engineer may have locked the panel in response to triggering a tamper. This means the panel will be useless unless you know the engineers code. I speak from bitter experience! I had been assured by one homeowner that their 816 panel was not engineer-locked. On removing the panel cover, I effectively rendered the panel "scrap". (The original installation company had ceased trading) Ah well, we live and learn! i think you can now get the engineer codes out using a direct conection with gardtec remote Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/21782-gardtec-800-on-its-last-legs/page/2/#findComment-188140 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 January 12, 200818 yr comment_188143 i think you can now get the engineer codes out using a direct conection with gardtec remote depends if the remote password has been changed and on the software version number, earlier panels did not accept the remote software so has to be <2.3 i think. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!! July 5, 200817 yr comment_203887 Sorry to Hijack but anyone know what keypad can replace a LED on a Gardtec 800 Thanks Ad any 6 wire keypad designed for the 800 series, the 4 wire version only works on the most recent panels regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
