IIRC it was because no Exit Mode had been set on the part-set programs. He checked that he had progged it correctly and it would not work. I suggested if he was only going to use 2 of the programs that he just isolate the individual circuits when part setting which he did. That worked for him but didn't answer the question why it didn't work the way it is surposed to. I suggested he get in touch with Honeywell to see if they had other enquireries about this problem but when I last saw him and asked if he had done so he said as it was now working by isolating the circuits he was quite happy with it so didn't bother. It may be a common fault but if it doesn't get reported no one will do anything about it. It could be a case of buy out a firm cobble the design so it becomes more trouble that it is worth so you then have to upgrade to a descent panel(just thinking out loud). Do you have the led version of keypad or the lcd version? Best wishes Vince PS You have to give prog 3 an exit mode ie (timed exit) or it will always revert to prog 1 when arming. Practice in the morning, practice at night. Practice in the evening, until you get it right. Only make sure you are practising in the right way at the right time for it.
