hi guys

was on site for phew hours today trying to find fault with fermax city light dooor entry system, audio and video,,

problem is ,, if anyones familier with it ,

when some one buzzez a phone you get the pic come on the monitor on the hand set but no, wasnt happening,, but if you press the monitor button on the handset you get picture

so spoke to technical to no avail, tryed all the usual flying leed from ct(camera triger)

on rear of out side camera to the video distributor ????

nothin, tryed diffrent camera module,, checked voltage at ct and poss when cam on had 8 volt,, belled out ct cable going back to video monitor ???????

has any one got any ideas

got a block of six appartments and got a fault on all so it a problem with eather outside cam or controll junction box ?

if your getting a picture when you press the monitor button it wont be the camera

fault on cable from station ? does it buzz when they press the button ? sounds like the handset isnt getting its switch input

He says he's done that mucker, if he "has" and there is voltage on his control cable then it must be a fault in the monitor switching..... :rolleyes:

yerr ran flying leed from camera ct straight to 3 on the video ditributor? no good the only thing i havnt done is wired camera mod direct on to video spliter ? this is a good one aint it?
