September 22, 200718 yr comment_178975 Where does part p apply (written confirmation specific to this particular thread exactly.)as far as im aware it doesnt ,but i might be wrong. I thought you were Trade? I'm just an amateur and that's how I read the published documentation. The whole subject has been debated endlessly here before. And it doesn't look like Part P applies to this thread at all in the strict sense that the original post was from Northern Ireland. Your employers MUST (legally - duty of care and health & safety among many other things) have guidance on this so you should clarify it with them ASAP if you're not sure. It wouldn't be good to be working for cowboys who are ignoring the rules and putting you and your customers at risk - so make sure you are not.
