alix242
As I am new to CCTV I have a question about x-vision. I am looking to fit cctv to my house and as I am a electrician should be able to do it myself (maybe)??? I have come across x-vision on the Y3K site and to me it looks ok. I am looking at a couple of cameras and a seperate netwok DVR. Please can anyone rate this equipment for me, would it be suitable for what I want. I would rather pay more for reasonable quality. Thanks

barooga
i use the jpeg2000 dvrs and have at least 25-30 out therein fact i prefer them to DM and thats saying something. And why might that be exactly? By what parameters are you comparing them? Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional

So nothing about actual performance and fit for purpose then? The remote looks nice. Pretty objective comparison then eh?
