if you want to use them only once or twice, i agree. but you get what you pay for. i have a german made pair of cutter, have had them three years now and they still cut paper.

in the past i have tried all the fancy automatic cutters, 6" side (diagonal) pliers once you get use to them there's simply nothing that ever beats them imo.

like all hand tools i tend to loose the flipping expensive ones , so i spend no more than
