A 3 way light is the best IMO, the time delay switch could be a hazzard if it goes off when you are in the shower. Alternatively PIR controlled light?

bear with me on this please Dave - whats a three way light - the dangerous mains stuff isnt my domain!

Simple solution get an electrician in as clearly you are out your depth.
