Can anyone tell me if the SMS module for the Texecom alarms can also be used to arm/disarm the alarm (It looks very similar to a keypad)

Also whether you can shut off the siren remotely via a mobile phone for example in case the alarm keeps going off when you are away?

It could be made to do it as it has 2 outputs, they could be connected to zones on the panel to arm/disarm. I wouldn't recommend it though.

if it could you really shouldnt use this feature

think more on the lines of how do i get the system to do the same as a profesionally installed system and prevent the false alarms ie sitting sensors etc

what im saying is dont over engineer the system
