January 20, 200719 yr comment_145547 I have a Pyronixs Sterling 10 alarm system that I've installed over 5 years ago. Up until a couple of months ago everything was fine but when you now activate the alarm system either through an activation by a panic alarm or PIR there is a delay before the bell sounds which can be between 10-30 minutes. Ive checked the Bell box itself and its fine so beleive it's the main control unit. Before I go and replace the main control unit I wanted to know if anyone may know what the fault may be. Many thanks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/15144-delay-in-alarm-activation/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 January 20, 200719 yr Author comment_145554 Has anyone programmed a bell delay into the system parameters?Has the panel been subjected to lightning or electrical interference? I don't use the Sterling 10 {spit} so cannot offer any further advice I'm afraid. To all the above the answer is no. Thanks anyway Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/15144-delay-in-alarm-activation/#findComment-145554 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 January 20, 200719 yr comment_145600 I am 1 of the few in the Gardtec brigade and i would fit a 480 panel. If you cannot get hold of one hen the CP8 panel will do the job. !
