January 14, 200719 yr comment_143851 I have an Accenta 6 system. The external sounder (I don't know what model it is) is making a continual "chirrup" sound every second or so, but at very low volume. If I test the sounder, it sounds as normal but at the same very low volume - so I guess it's a fault in the bell box (probably water inside, given the weather here recently). Does that sound like a reasonable diagnosis? Everything else is working fine and the control panel isn't complaining about anything. Can anyone reveal to me the best way of getting the sounder to shut up until I can get a professional out to look at it? It is very quiet but is near the bedroom window (and the neighbours' bedroom window!).
