We're getting a number of Dedicated Micro's DS2 and D4 hard drive failures - more than I would expect.

Also a lot of "Disk burn fail" messages when attempting to copy to blank CD-R's - (using Verbatim x 52 blanks). Any remedies/comments?

Only remedy for hard drive failure is back to DM. Disk burn fail could be a number of things but again most likely a case of return to DM.

As for comments

good idea IMO, but price is too high for general use in the market place i would think. Customers look at price and trying to explain to them the benefits of going this route would be hard work

(bearing in mind i,m a humble ALARMS engineer and my CCTV knowledge is limited) :)
