If you do a search on pet PIRs you will find loads of info. Ive tried quite a few the standard texecom petwise is very poor not tried the DT version tho. The visonic K9 very poor but the Visonic K9-85 in the NEXT style housing is spot on so is the DS 820.

ou can only speak as you find, and i wish you luck. Yes chances are at some point any sensor will false alarm, its just what you deam acceptable rate and what you deam a a flase alarm to be. I think its very hard to make a movement detector only detect certain motion and not others. Eventually they the technologyy will exist at the right price too

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

Bosch DS820/825 great for a DIY install. Zero problems, and I have 5 small dogs. No false alarms in 8 months. Can be difficult to find a dealer who sells them though, PM me if you want details.
