Just had the CP8 LCD fitted to my house and the menu system has all the communicator options but the pcb doesnt appear to have them.

Can you tell me if you can fit a digicom or if it has the capabilities?

There was a digi available for this panel and it sat on the 485 line, not sure you can still get the digi's though as they were never intended for the uk. I think it was limited to intruder and o/c. It didnt have the logs or the options for proper signalling in the uk

The CP8 does not have onboard digi, the CPX does though.

It may interest you to know that I am only 19 years old.

At the time we have many an argument over trade access I was fitting many alarms for my friends and family privately at only 16 years of age and at the time I tried to join the community but some people would not take me seriously.

I have just fitted the Eurosec myself and am more than competent with alarm systems, ask anyone about the twenty or so I have installed, even been to Spain to do them.

I am not going to get into this debate with you, just let sleeping dogs lie.

No debate, you took the p**s tried to be something your not and then wouldn't accept when people recognised this that they were right(your old posts still exist on the boards, search and see). You then keep coming back asking the same question and expecting help except the panel keeps changing, the real trade members on these forums give there help and advice free, it doesn't need members of the public to take the p**s.

You got plenty help at the time when you tried to pass yourself as trade, if your serious this time then you might get some help, but if your not then goaway before one of us hurt your ego again.

Nope I am not, what started as a school project turned into me installing them in both homes and commercial premises, even though they are only normal ade/texecom systems.

I even got a free trip to spain out of it to fit out a Villa!!

At one point I did consider it as a Job but I soon got fed up with the attitude of people and just lost interest.
