Adi
I use cut vinyl letters look better than clear plastic labels. So long as the vinyl is uv stable they dont fade and never had a problem with them peeling (wouldnt like one stuck on me genitals) Adi I really can't be ar**** with it anymore. Guest
personally i use clear stickers with my logo etc printed on. done at a local printer, allows me to be a little flexible with the box's i use.. also it means if i do a repair and the box does not have a label on it, then i can put mine on.... now if you had a number done on white vinyl as part of the same print run, you could sticker over someone else

Adi
While we on the subject how many of you have your telephone number on the box, i just have my name. Is it worth putting my number on it? I think i may have just answered my own question seen as ive stopped advertising in the yellow pages, tho still with yell.com and some local advertising. I really can't be ar**** with it anymore. Guest
How fo you find the XS3D Stuart?I've been using them for a while as my main box and recently changed to the chrome version for a more individual look. Almost changed to the Nova 4 or back to the Nova 2 but was told of the new XS3D thats due out which is more sturdy with spirit level built in. They're not bad for what they are. That clip at the bottom behind the cover fixing screw winds me up as the box has to perfectly square to get it in otherwise it pings off and\or the cover doesn't stay on and the fact there's nothing straight on them to stick the level against. I'm looking at just using them for domestics and using the Nova 4 for commercials, mainly because I've got a garage full of XS3D lids so they've got to go somewhere! Didn't know there was a new XS3D coming out though, I'll have to look into that.

I think i may have just answered my own question seen as ive stopped advertising in the yellow pages, tho still with yell.com and some local advertising. I used to have phone number on the box, but got fed up of BT changing numbers and std code numbers, so I scrapped the idea. If someone wants to contact us I am sure they will find our number easily enough.

The word on the street is that its more sturdy, built in level, sealed electronics, the cover I think is slightly different with 3 strobe lens effect if you sort of get me. arfur mo
Hey guys,Was wondering where all you guys get your bell boxes done (Your logo and number ext..). The texecom free screen printing offer seems good as i like their bell boxes as it is. Min order of 40 tho , Bit to much when you just want to see what they come out like first Regards, Ranger you can buy just the covers from most makers, then get the remainder of the sirens as you need them to keep capital cost down B) regs alan .............. which is more sturdy with spirit level built in. you don't need a level on a rounded siren aka Modern AFA regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!! Anusoflannigan
CQR will print on orders of 30 covers and send a sample lid when you OK a printed proof. I prefer just a company name on a Bell box It looks more professional (sorry guys ) and means you can have your logo bigger. If the BB is high no one wiil be able to read the number and as said you can be found in the phone book
Alarm Protection
I also use the XS3d Gardtec Bell and get them screen printed by Gardtec. Not had many problems with them at all. Used to use the Gardtec XS7's.........what a nightmare to get level on the wall and a few customers complained they could not see the red led's flashing at night as a warning so we had to change. !
