Hi Miss Amanda, just ignore the banter. They are right it's welcome to the NUT House, if you ain't nuts you soon will be, either that or you won't be able to work from laughing and the "mishaps" that can happen to others and the "disasters" some of us have walked in on.

Myself Im just one poor alarm / cctv tech support dude, and sometimes it's a Pain, oh go look up some Obscure 10yr old panel so you can figure out how it's all wired up and that.

Top tip: if you ever catch fire, try to avoid seeing yourself in the mirror, because i bet thats what REALLY throws you into a panic and dont forget the one thing you cant recycle is wasted time.
