i have a control panel that I required during a house purchase which has the following markings on the motherboard 09600UK-00 and 3H09.

Can anybody help me identify it please?

The only keypad that will work with it as far as I know, is the proper Scantronic 9600 LCD one. They are'nt made anymore, and have'nt been for a while, but you can pick them up off eBay sometimes. They came in white and a very gaudy looking faux gold effect.

Not really. You can pick up the newer scantronics panels for a song these days! And you will get a 1 year warranty. If its a Scanny 9600, its probably at least ten years old.
