Both mine and my mom's are wired.

My alarm, The Orisec, had a WiFi card fitted so I can control it from my phone and away from home, it can be upgraded with another module to allow wireless sensors to be added at a later date too.

I only fit wired and very rarely fit wireless

I always fit wifi comms on all my systems

Don't worry about Al yeti  they are just a yeti who escaped the cage

I did mention this in your Veritas thread, panels generally only have enough capacity to supply themselves, a keypad, sensors and one SAB.

The maximum current that can be supplied by it's power supply is not always the limiting factor, you do calculations based on standby battery capacity.

If you have 2 bells there is a low current mode on most new texecom SABs to let you get away with this

Doing work for nothing or pocket money helps nobody. It's bad for the industry as a whole. You are being used and are liable for your work.

Everyone wants something as cheap as possible. You just don't realise the bigger picture.

Even in your google review responsiveness is higher than value and it sounds like you charge next to nothing...

I/We don't have to point this out, do what you want...

In fact generally we don't have to post anything here, but the reason we participate is because we what to discuss issues around the trade and generally move the industry forward.

I have public liability so I am fine

low mileage veritas, full service history.....

you need the recurring revenue of maintenance, even if you charge 50p & a lollipop...

I do  get reoccurring revenues such as a flat battery

Then again people seem happy so I am happy with that too

    Atleast he is busy yeah?

    I got 24 veritas r8, 3 Scantronic 9448s, 2 accenta g4 panels, 6 galaxys, 2 ade concepts, risco lightsys, gardtec 800, 3 texecom premiers and a RSI videofied panel

so I count that as a win and reasonable pay

The one that's giving me problems was direct from orisec...but i have bought a couple of other orisec boxed ones from ebay - are you going to tell me they are rejects from Orisec

If you ordered it from contact orisec and they will send you a shipping label and a replacement for free   and tbh if you are using the in panel receiver don't expect more than 5m range without a external antenna
