Thanks for that. Is it correct that the RSS software is required to program the panel for selfmon or GX?

Can the Flex V3 with the ethernet module be setup for self mon or gx app without needing the RSS software? I read somewhere the RSS is need to set the UMS password etc? Thanks Ian

Happy days 1988 and a four zone Optima (XM?) panel - my first alarm install complete with extra relay to turn floodlights.....how cutting edge was I back in the day :-)

Can anyone recommend the best way to get control / notifications from Galaxy Flex V3 panel on mobile device? Panel has ethernet module and gsm module installed. I have also got the got GX Remote app on phone (not setup). Reading the above post I am now left wondering whether using Selfmon is the better way to go? Any advice gratefully received.

Hi All, I am a support engineer for a large multi-national. Part of my role deals with access control (Paxton) and CCTV setup (Genetec / Axis) I am Paxton Net2 Advanced certified. I have had some dealings with Honeywell / Flex alarm panels as well....but not much. Most of my day job is IT related. Ian
