  1. If setting the Block UDL set and Block UDL are set to Yes, will the engineer still be able to access the panel but I'll know he has? Ps. Whats UDL. Up/Download?
  2. Just a quick hello. Its a bit late though as I have had one query answered already for which I'm totally grateful. I maybe after some basic info ie. setup stuff in the future as I'm trying to get my head around this new tech last time I fitted an alarm panel was almost 20years ago and was still working until the Pyronix went in.
  3. I did get a 55sec BB off at 11.59pm last night and a 3 minute off at 9.17am but the alarm didn't Comm fault which is okay with me.
  4. Woohoo no beeping in the middle of the night.
  5. True. it was going off early AM and driving me nuts
  6. My BB was only off for seconds until it polled again and the Comm Fault started, now it shouldn't fault due to the timer. Hopefully the BB shouldn't go off to often now.
  7. Well I have changed the modem, also the engineer has adjusted the fault timer for over 20 minutes which seems to working, when I removed the old Modem and replaced with the new one it took a while to reconfigure the settings to be the identical and No Comm Fault while I was doing it. I hope that's ended this issue. Thanks to everyone for the info
  8. The alarm fault was a Comm fault so is related
  9. So just to clarify its only the Truespeed router that are locked down as I do like to alter the settings. I separated the 2.4 & 5 on the original router and gave them different names as well. The Smart connect what's the advantage of turning it off?
  10. Thanks Sixwheeledbeast. There was issues where the router could not connect at the same times as the alarm fault, apparently I have an old router and BT are sending me the latest model which should fix the problem. Fingers crossed
  11. Hi everyone. I'm aware this is an old thread but im having a Comm Fault generally 2-3am which is irritating at best the engineer said its BT router issue as the panel is connected via WiFi only. Has anyone had a similar issue and did you manage to fix it. Thanks Woody
