I always found the local ADI a little indifferent as I'm not a big purchaser
-
Did have, but the local depot is a bit *****.
Im a Galaxy guy at heart, tried texecom as a domestic panel as it's now totally wireless and used visonic before that. The le sucre looks like the new domestic panel for what I want as I'm not really interested in being ssaib/nsi
never even come across the flex panel as yet
-
Sjsturner, thanks for nothing

What's the score with the flex panel?
is it an all in one, grade 2 and 3?
why? It fills a market place already filled

Avigilon works with around 90% of cameras out there and milestone works with pretty much all.
Over 6000 supported cameras on milestone, meaning they have dedicated drivers (device packs) and the rest run on onvif although I wouldn't recommend it.

Where all doomed or we're all doomed mr happy?
I know, I'm a knob. Just trying to get those negative numbers up

That would of made an alarm a must have purchase instead of a grudge purchase
-
And then the ha market will get hacked and create havoc!
but you're right, people want to feel in control

Do you see the home automation business growing?
I know the high end connect 4 products are very popular in expensive housing and wondered if the average joe wanted a cheaper version
-
Oh I see,
ever thought of offering them yourself or the texecom connect?
-
What's to hate?
it seems so simple, it's just a box with a sim
-
So is it popular here?
-
I'm guessing it's not compliant
-
Does anyone know what the Honeywell le sucre is all about?
-
I'd agree with the expensive, in my experience I find most people use avigilon
-
Has anyone on here used milestone and if so which one?
Any good?
-
Not sure which type they are, they are Honeywell but don't know.
Ive a Honeywell bg tester but it never fully tests them only get the green light and never register on walk test, even on flex test and hitting the glass
-
So what's people's views on break glass detectors?
i find them difficult to test a lot of the time and if fitted in a shop with lamented glass, which most should have, they won't go off anyway!
-
So what systems out there are truly secure 2 way systems?
surely every system fitted should be 2 way
-
Oh, one way. Didn't know that.
Is that hat the same for their new range power g?
So honeywells g2 hybrid and texecom richocet are both secure two way?

Why is it tat

Hi all
Has any one had any issues with the inbuilt client for noip on dahua nvr's?
one site was fine and no keeps dropping comms because the noip dns won't resolve so I have to go to site
starting to really jerk my chain
-
interesting, on a rough average how many doors per system do you do, I imagine you don't get large buildings. but then again I doubt people care about registration for access.
do you work alone or do you have a crew?
I ask as it will be just be and the occasional extra guy. was thinking big installs could be farmed off to sparks and I just fit the important bits
-
So do you do much in the way of small business and is the bulk of work alarm or cctv
I ask as I'm contracting at the mo and want to move in to my own game but unsure of the market

galaxy guy,
could you elaborate why you wouldn't touch the Le Sucre?
is it because once fitted the only money maker is the two year subscription or is it just a little ***** and doesn't really work?
