So really for a modern alarm, say texecom or orisec you want a speaker so you can use the different tones for fire, intruder etc?

this is a bit of a noob question but what's the difference between an internal sounder and an extension speaker?

-
is this an oversight as insurance companies must request police response for these houses due to the cost of them and they aren't compliant, or is police response a thing of the past and insurance companies just require key holder?
-
So they aren't compliant as none of the home control systems out there meet the requirements.
as for Norman, that's the reason this site is not a professional forum and more a boys club!

Hi
Could someone enlighten me on the regs regarding the setting and unsetting of an alarm using a home control system such as Control 4 instead of the keypad of the alarm.

Most recently on national grids integrated security update on its gas sites

Good for them

i do sub contract, but youll find synergy in pretty much all high street cctv systems. this isnt where i use it though, its also very popular in casinos and utilities

If you go to Fibaro website they offer direct support to anyone so hardly installer only. UK office was closed down long before takeover and English (non-US) support is now from English speakers in Poland (e.g. the whole office probably)
As above Amazon are continuously getting new stock of Fibaro kit as it the uk.automation site, Amazon prices flutuate but can't believe trade is ever any cheaper than the best Amazon prices.
I suspect the 'nice' rep just wanted to to make you feel good
HH3 out soon at a silly price. I would have thought the future was no hub, as such, or at least not such a complex one, a PI size and powered PC would have been ideal price and function wise.
just to pick up on your points.
its much cheaper if you have a direct account with Nice, owners of Fibaro.
there is a english office, its the Nice office which is where the training is held. the hub 3 is the same price as the 2 which i think is £350 plus the vat off the top of my head

Just to correct the above comment about fibaro, they haven't left the UK market at all. They where bought by Nice and now Nice UK administrator the company. They've changed the way they view the market and now are no longer straight to consumer, they only provide through registered installers like myself.

Just a quick question, can you fit a web way nano inside a plastic galaxy Flex panel
-
so if you don't mined me asking, what do you use?
-
So how does it stack up against the Orisec app? I thought as the conxtd is from a Comms supplier it would be more stable.
-
Hi has anyone used webways conxtd app and if so is it stable and user friendly?
-
Thanks for all your help!

Anyone used the visonic 360r panels yet?

I didn't say it shouldn't be charged for, all I'm saying is it's expensive especially as there's free alternatives.
In fact, it doesn't really do anything more than what was already available.

It does indeed, but it's a very high price to pay when everyone else doesn't charge! It's a risky business strategy especially as their equipment offers no more than others

Ring Cameras
in Members Lounge (Public)
Posted
Hi all
I was wondering now Ring have introduced their professional range of cameras (same as their consumer range but with extended warranty and no subscription fee for recording), Could these be an easy cctv system for domestic customers?
