  1. it is a bit hard to read some of your posts arf :dontgetit:  are you using touch screen?

i only ever use a keyboard me, an cant stand the web on phones O_O

most time use iPad 2, worse iPhone due to having large fingers and small keys, often i type, then post to then spot an error. go back in ti edit, phone or door bell go's and i get nailed by the edit timer.

in all commonsense - why on earth is it so short?

  2. :)

My brother is 6 years older, in our respective teens safe sex was having a padded head board - no bed, just the headboard!

If you caught something back then it was curable at least, if embarrassing. You were more scarred of your Dad catching you smoking - his fags!

Having a severe OCD about hygiene, If my brothers casual wild oats were being sewn now, he'd likely wear a condom for a hand job :).

Just thinking, i wonder in the bottle if Detol if it had a health warning on it 'might contain nuts'?

If that was all it contained back then lol!

  3. Good stuff

I came in here to say what ever you do don't get a risco agility

Had the (mis) fortune of one today. Crock of ***** IMO. Much rather an enforcer any day for wire free.

i'd be interested why you dislike it, i've had very few problems, worst tbh is GSM signal being reporting as low signal strength. I've trusted it that much i installed two systems to look after a high value warehouse complex until client had tbe budget to go for renewed wired.

Guards love it, they can see immediately where when a detector has tripped direct to the patrols mobil if out on patrol, no need to go to the only available keypad to find out.

    top kit imho,

  4. You really are a complete feckin idiot.

And a seemingly jealous one at that.

You really should accept that almost everyone has had a better education than you.

is this a continuation of your civil asked questions, after i go to great lengths to explain as to why i used the term 'DOTS' that only you could not understand - and i'm the idiot, REALLY.

what have i got to, no lets re-phrase - you got that i should be so jealous of exactly - a guy who cannot even be accurate and has had an obvious dual common sense and humour lobotomy?

so you having a laugh with us Cubit? or have i hit a nerve ;).

Don't sit on the fence :)

    he specialises in causing offence!

  5. At last, he manages to answer the simple question.

Although the confusion arose as he appears to struggle with the difference between dots and lines.

No struggle here, where as you struggle with accuracy.

for someone who likes to read fine legal detail, amazes me you fell into this simple terminology 'trap' , but obviously due to your self imposed superiority complex.

When freshly put down, they might well be lines, if they remain in force they will possibly be maintained as lines - btw, when is a line a dash - anyone?).

For your further education and road safety information, after a few years temporary lines at road work, not being refreshed become little more than dots with a few dashes - But they are the DOT's as i refer to, especially after several years of being worn away by tyres, but idiots still slam the anchors on - hence my description DOT's - it is these i clearly refer to in plain English.

is that crystal clear enough for you now? care to show real character and rescind?

  6. At last, he manages to answer the simple question.

Although the confusion arose as he appears to struggle with the difference between dots and lines.

I'm undone, sadly i'm forced to admit as a young man , i failed my morse code test for the exact same reason, bad tummy meant i dashed out the door instead of stopping to dot. i was so upset, i banned dashes from my life, i've never been the same since! :/

  7. And you still persist in failing to answer the simple question.

    You're one strange character.

Agreed! Nut i like to help the less abled ;),

    So s question -:

What are those white dots on the tarmac you see under every motorway gantry camera, across every lane - and even tat he average speed ones on the poles?

Magically thy apprear on the photo evedence picture of fhe offence that plops onto your matt?

(And mo, Not as in Marhew)

  8. I don't like them :(

i live in a straight road thats about 3/4 of a mile long, has a clearly marked infants/juniors school entrance road half way along it, worst speeding offenders are the literally mums drag racing to get their kids to the school, you literally take your life in your life in your hands getting on or off your own drive.

We all await with dread for the certain tragic day a kiddy gets killed!

i'd have one tight outside my house and change the film roll every day,

i'd have one tight outside my house and change the film roll every day,

It was a perfectly civil question.

    What dots?

    so was mine

  9. pet hate are those dots on Tarmac that remain long after roadworks and temporary safety cameras have been removed, should be compulsory be painted out, just for the clowns that slam on brakes at 80mph down to 25 mph on a perfectly clear motorway!

Annoying in a following car, try it on a motorbike when the car following the idiot swerves suddenly into your lane no signals. nada!

  10. Local small chain budget DIY shop has (presumably) done just that.

All of a sudden they have 50 traditional cameras, all clearly (once) real, in a small shop.

No doubt some work, but can't believe all of them do. And clearly second hand, yellowed cases etc...

like 'safety' cameras - you know for a fact not all but some work, so your not sure if that one works or not, that causes uncertainty and so an effective deferent to speeding to drivers and thief's alike 'just in case'.

a dummy bell has the same effect to some degree, ADT get a free advert if not a service contract.

  11. Many footballers like to smother themselves in white horse liniment - making it a bad mistake about not washing hands to copy if they then make a 'comfort visit' just before the match ;).

My older brother had a chance casual relationship, a short while after decided he had risked catching an SMD, to shy to seek proper advice, he performed some self medication,

pouring neat Detol over his cannon and balls!

so if you think you know pain, he was off work for over a week in hospital with shock!

    ,

sympathy only please, no sniggering at the back ;)

  12. BS approved Bell transformer is exempt AFAIK, if wired direct to 5A or 6A?

Might be making that up ;)

that shocks me if true boom! boom!

personally, sod that for a game of tin soldiers, if i fit one, has to have spur or plug, 3 amo fuse max

i have always assumed the CU being mounted on a lump of timber is for insulation needs, or to get cables behind, but us that correct and still required? just tweaked my curiosity for some reason.

  13. the delay is so you have a chance to switch off and avoid calling key holders if you accidentally cause an activation during exit or entry.

suggest check manual to allow dialler to cancel if alarm is switched off after activations, otherwise all you key holders will get a false call.

  14. Im looking to replace a few 500W halogens with led floodlights.

Anyone used them or recommend a supplier, thanks

just say as yet i have not seen any that match a 500 watt, i'd rate the biggest ones i've seen which i think were 70's as 300 watt ish!

ok at 1st floor but a bit narrow and less effective if up in the eaves of a 2 story. if for a client then best warn them, then remmind they are far cheaper to run and should last a lot longer (as long as the case holds out).
