  1. I would restart router, wait till its back on line then restart panel.

Is the ethernet cable a pre made one or did the installer make it? I would test this also just to make sure.

The CP-25 was the first panel Orisec bought out around 9 years ago and hasn't been made for the past 4 years or so. You could update the panel to a CP-20 with lan card as that is the updated version?

Yes   klaxon flashguard outside  4 pyronix magnums and the pyronix sterling 10   soon to be replaced with either a euro mini or texecom veritas

Then i will make a keypad smashing vid

My shed has datadiffusions ion30exd, pyronix dt, oricec es120 bell box, master blaster and a CQR door contact

How did your sales speech go to upgrade?

  3. Tbh I have just applied for trade side and although been on here for the past 15 years just saw you need to make 5 posts lol.

Anyway  installed Risco for 18 years through my apprenticeship and the 350 to 800 panels were good hardwired kit.

The 595/600/601 kit were decent then Agility/ lightsys brought out.... don’t get me wrong they are decent panels but why make it so complicated for the users to use?

plus  the engineer programme is nonesense!

So the pyronix rep came round and I liked the enforcer. Have quite a few installed and  it’s a decent panel only for call outs to the bell tamper switch going faulty!

I wanted to use Texecom but they are 3rd party distribution up here so it’s Orisec and it’s the best manufacturers I’ve worked with.

  4. There are a lot off installers that install Risco and I used to until I switched to Orisec and use some Texecom.

The Agility 4 is a good panel but it has to be set up correctly. I am not saying that the company will not do this but I have been called out to Agility and Lightsys systems where a few adjustments in programming etc have made a difference.

Their door contacts/shock sensors are to big which look ugly on doors/windows.

The risco is in a class of it own  the manual 110 odd pages they recommend one whole days   training for experienced engineers two if your not   it is read the manual several times

Then go to the wholesaler buy a Texecom or Enforcer  and fit that :D I use one in my junk box to hold the shed door open

you will end up calling your installer to reset it is designed to be a earner  did the outside sounder trigger when you took the unit off and show a tamper  a hammer logo:smash:

The op is talking about the gardtec 600.

  6. Can you post a pic of the keypad and alarm box?

I think your system will be the Eurosec CPX withe the wireless receiver as the CP8L is not compatible with Risco wireless devices.

From reading your post it looks like there are wireless devices that need the battery changing. Do you have 2 types of PIRs or door contacts in the property?

Without the user code (5678 default) there is not much you can do as I would advise you to look through the log to see what has happened.

The panel can be defaulted to the 5678 code but if the engineer code is locked then there is not much you can do as this will not default the engineer code and if the panel is on engineer tamper reset you will need the code.

I would google on how to reset the user codes to start with, change the panel battery, wireless devices batteries and see how it goes.
