Is there many people that go sole trader?
I am not SSAIB and have a cash account at my suppliers, can't see any way of getting in trouble?

Hiya
What can I use to alert my client that his alarm is going off? It's a shop with remote stores but no phone line in there.

Hello
If CCTV is 1V p2p why does my genie handy set say
IRE: 1100V (WHAT IS IRE?)
and SYNC 200mv
-
Thanks all, it's a portable office style premises and customer doesn't want trunking.
-
Are there many / any sole traders in the industry or is everyone LTD?
Can a one man band get SSAIB?

Beer a clock here..
I ask because done a survey tonight, alarm to be installed in a portkabin, customer happy for cables to be tacked along walls. However I wonder if it's OK to tack KP cable going down the wall? Yes it is going to be by the only entrance/exit but no it wont stop a exit.
-
Do the cables need to be protected? (ie: inside a office cabling running down wall to kp)

http://www.visonic.com/Products/Wireless-Property-Protection/PowerMaxComplete
States Powermax is 2 way.
Visonic Kit is cheaper to buy, DC's are cheaper and as are DT'S. In this game customers don't want to pay a lot, so Visonic win. What I like is they print free bell lids whereas Pyronix wont.

-
Why no mention of Visonic?
There are probably more wireless visonic installs than any other, kit is cheaper and solid!

Hello
-
Interesting so 6FPS is ok? Even though real time is 25?
Why is there options for 60 FPS?
-
Evening
My customer wants a 8 channel 8 tb cvi dvr with 1080p cameras.
I calculated this at 18 days @ 12 FPS with 1080 Res.
My question is, what is the minimum frame rate you would drop to? Would you notice a diff recording @ 720p?
Thanks
